Don Elí El Llano - Costa Rica Terrazu

Late summer when coffees from our friends at Don Elí in Costa Rica arrive is one of our favorite times of the year. After visiting them in 2020 we knew we had made lasting friendships with some of the best producers in the country. This year we are happy to share with you three coffees from the same cultivar that have undergone different processing methods unique to Don Elí from Carlos and his son Jacob Montero.

This year we have opted or the El Llano lot to be naturally processed to explore another take on an annual favorite of ours. The result is an amazing spin on an old favorite that has left this coffee with an extremely juicy and fruit-forward cup. We find tons of concord grape, marionberry, and a sweet lime finish that leaves an exceptionally juicy profile.
