You’ll find that it showcases much of our favorite attributes of washed Ethiopian coffees, namely an expressive acidity and bright floral notes. when this coffee peaks around 10-14 days off roast, you’ll find an overwhelming peach candy and nectarine note to the cup as well.

This coffee is produced by small farmers belonging to the Gedeo group (whose language is Gedeofa) and Oromo group (whose language is Oromifa). Farm sizes in this area are typically small, ranging from 0.5 hectares to 2 hectares, with multi-generational families producing one to three 60-kilo bags of coffee. Ethiopian farmers pick their own crops with the assistance of family members. Washing stations often pay premiums to producers for selling only ripe cherries. The cherries are then processed by the washing station.
